SPICY LAUGHS

Christopher Gray
[Frame 1] The two men are at a Taqueria ordering food at the counter. Guy 1: Carnitas Burrito, refried beans. Guy 2: One Carne Asada baby Burrito.
[Frame 2] The two men are at their table waiting for their food, and they begin to analyze the hot sauce options at the table. Guy 1: Look, their hot sauces! Guy 2: Let’s try them all! Guy 1: OK
[Frame 3] The two men received their food and started to test hot sauces. Guy 1: You try this one? Guy 2: (Laughs) It’s spicy, and I can’t stop laughing! (Hiccup) Guy 1: Careful, dude.
[Frame 4] The two men are challenged by tears and laughter while trying to finish their lunch. Guy 2: (Laughs) What does the bottle say? (Sniffle, Laughs) Guy 1: (Hiccup) Risas Picantes. (Laughs)
[Frame 5] The two men, challenged by tears and laughter, attempt to translate their hot sauce bottle. Guy 1: (Laughs) What does that mean? (Cough) Guy 2: (Laughs) Uh, I don’t know! (Laughs, Hiccup)
[Frame 6] The two men have passed away while eating food with the “spicy laughs” hot sauce. This single frame is their tombstones side by side, two weeks after their death. Tombstone 1: Allen Peppers, July 4, 1997 - September 11, 2025, Monolingual, “Mother upset Son did not finish burrito.” Tombstone 2: Richard Less, January 6, 1996 - September 11, 2025, Challenger, “Failed Spanish 101 four times.”
